From the Ground Up Horsemanship - 2015 to Present

​

• Since 2019,  I'm a certified trainer and instructor of From the Ground Up Horsemanship.

• ​Apprenticed with Judy Griffiths - 2-Start Parelli Certified Instructor and creator of From the Ground Up Horsemanship - and extensively studied her natural horsemanship program. 

• Honed my skills with a variety of horses, watched hours of coaching and clinics; such as, Riding Bridless and Liberty Clinics; as well as, Cowboy Dressage, IMTCA and working with the garacha pole.

Eventing - 1995 to 2000

   

• Trained by Olympians Ian Roberts, Kelly Plitz, Jillian Southerland and Jimmy Wallford.

• Made North American Young Riders team to compete in the championships at the Kentucky Horse Park against teams from all across North American.

My Introduction to Natural Horsemanship - 1998 to 2006

• Mentored by the late Gary Convery - often referred to as the Canadian Horse Whisperer.

• Gained valuable experience of starting out and training horses, Arabians, Mustangs and Gaited Horses in Natural Horsemanship.

Training in Kentucky - 2006 to 2009

​

• Moved to Kentucky to apprentice and specialize in horse training and starting out young horses.

• Hired as one of eight full-time professional trainers.

• Started many young horses; as well as, trained and showed clients horses, and worked with weanlings and yearlings.

Race Track - 2013 to 2015

​

• Exercising race horses and starting out colts.

​
